due to Hurricane Milton.

RECOVERY UPDATE 10/14/2024:

We are all in the process of recovering from Hurricane Milton. Many of us are still dealing with damage and loss to varying degrees.

I’m encouraged to hear that many of our team members have had their power and cell service restored. We are continuing to take steps to recovery each day.

Project Return is still without power.  We are also still working to address unsafe conditions on the property.

Sunshine Line has cancelled all member trips to Project Return this week due to their ongoing recovery efforts.  They are expecting to resume normal operations on Monday,10/21/2024.

Hopefully, we will have power restored this week so that we can prepare for a return to normal operations next week.  Until then, all staff who are able to do so, should plan to work remotely.  Please stay connected with your supervisor (if possible) regarding your capabilities for remote work.  We understand that we are all going through recovery and are faced with different challenges. We are taking this step by step to determine our best path forward for our staff and our members.

I want to thank everyone for their continued efforts to provide support services to our members during this challenging time for us all.

We will continue to provide updates by email, our website, and social media (as possible).

Again, please stay safe in the aftermath of Hurricane Milton.

Please stay posted to the website and our social media pages for updates.

Our Online Classroom is available along with other resources.

We hope everyone stays safe during this time.

More About Our Funders

The generosity of philanthropic supporters is the only way we can meet Project Return’s
current needs and continue to go above and beyond the scope of what would be possible for our members if we solely relied on government funding. This means YOU can help provide our members with the resources they need to create a plan to achieve their life outcomes by making a donation.  Project Return is funded in part by Central Florida Behavioral Health Network
and donations from individuals, corporations, and foundations including:
